Apsara Senaratne

Apsara Senaratne is a senior at Granada Hills Charter High School and Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, The Plaid Press, as well as a member of the Student Advisory Board at HS Insider. She is also President and Founder of both a local community organization, Share Your Stories, and the Highlander Review, GHC's in-house literary magazine. She feels very strongly about the right to free speech, and views journalism as a medium through which she can openly discuss controversial current events and be an advocate.
