Delilah Brumer

Delilah Brumer is a senior at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School and an incoming freshman at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Recently, she was named the 2023 California High School Journalist of the Year. She has been on the Student Advisory Board at High School Insider for six semesters and was an intern there last summer. She is the Print Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, The Pearl Post and an intern at the Los Angeles Daily News. Her freelance bylines appear in the Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine, PBS Newshour's Student Reporting Labs, Girls' Life Magazine, WriteGirl and Best of SNO, among others.
