Every high school football team is characterized by a few things: the quarterback, the defensive star, the coach and even the cheerleaders. Beverly Hills High School varsity football, however, can be best portrayed through its benchwarmers, seniors Sidney Okuson and Tyler Choate.
Self-proclaimed “superstars” of the football program, Choate and Okuson led the team in only one category: jokes told. And although Beverly football may have not been the most successful in terms of wins and losses, these two surely played a key role in helping Beverly lead the league in laughs.
