Dear future president,

As a sophomore in high school, college is getting closer every day. This brings the crushing weight of college tuition down on my shoulders and the compromises that will have to be made so that I can afford to further my education. This reality not only affects me, but countless other students dreaming of attending college.

College tuitions and fees are at an all time high. Prices are constantly rising, making dreams of achieving a higher education virtually unattainable. A lot of pressure is already placed on my generation to succeed, but without an education there is no foundation to make future advancements.

Sincerely,

Nikka Afshar
