1. Lil Wayne
He wasn’t gone until November. Lil Wayne is performing at the Heat Ultra Lounge June 16 in Anaheim. Best believe the heat will be turnt since his mixtape, “Sorry for the Wait 2,” is being released June 4. Pay tentative attention as Wayne fires out his verses.
2. Kevin Hart
What now? More laughs. Technically, Kevin Hart isn’t a hip-hop artist but a lot of performers tend to be in his audience. He also was in Jimmy Fallon’s lip sync battle on “The Tonight Show.” Join the wave of laughter June 25 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, part of the BET Experience.
3. Nicki Minaj
The night will be young once Nicki Minaj performs at the Staples Center on June 26. Part of the BET Experience, Minaj will be accompanied by Ne-Yo and Tinashe. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see Minaj’s “Anaconda” live.
4. Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg
Part of the BET Experience, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg will perform on June 27 in the Staples Center. With King Kunta’s successful album “To Pimp a Butterfly,” Dogg’s new album “Bush” and Ice Cube’s baritone verses, this will be one turnt night.
5. J. Cole, Big Sean and Jeremih
Another triple thunder performance will be underway with J. Cole, Big Sean and Jeremih. J. Cole’s album “2014 Forest Hills Drive” has very deep lyrics that will balance out Big Sean’s older album “Hall of Fame,” this concert will have simplicity. Prepare for the rapper and his mic July 19 at the Staples Center.
