April is just around the corner. As if we couldn’t be more excited for a new month, check out the top fifty things that are releasing in April.

  1. Views from the 6 (Drake)

Cue the instant fangirling, because we’ve been waiting for this album for far too long.
  2. The MTV Movie Awards

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards will air on April 10 at 8 PM ET/PT on MTV. The show, hosted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will be honoring some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Will Smith for the iconic Generation Award.

3. Earth Day

Earth Day is April 22. Be sure to give some love back to our Earth by participating in fun activities like planting trees, cleaning up the beach, and picking up trash around your community. We all have a role to play in keeping the planet clean, and Earth Day just reaffirms our commitment to the goal of a sustainable world.

4. The 1975 at the Shrine Theater (L.A.)

The 1975 will be performing at The Shrine theater in Los Angeles for two special nights on April 18 and 19. With their new ~pink~ theme and their newfound ’80s vibe, we’ll be in the back sobbing out of joy.

5. The Jungle Book

Disney’s “The Jungle Book” gets a dark look when it swings into movie theaters on April 15. Directed by Jon Farvreau, this film is bound to either scare us out of our seats or leave us breathless the entire time.

6. Ellie Goulding comes to the Staples Center

Ellie Goulding will perform at the Staples Center on April 8 and it’s been “On My Mind” ever since. Ellie, will you “Love Me Like You Do”?

7. Beyonce’s new album(?)

Although Queen B still has yet to confirm the specific date of the album, her fans are on their toes waiting for the album to drop. That is, if it doesn’t drop any sooner by surprise…

8. Mary Poppins: The Musical

Mary Poppins is Disney’s classiest character, and Hope International University is bringing the beloved tale to life on April 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th. Get ready for a night that’s practically perfect in every way by buying tickets here.

9. Game of Thrones, season 6

Game of Thrones comes back for a sixth season on April 24. Although we’re still emotionally recovering from the last season, we’re excited to come back to the edge of our seats.

10. TEDx at UCR

Who doesn’t love a good Ted Talk? TEDx at UCR will be having its first event on April 23 from 4-8 PM. Don’t miss this monumental event!

Who doesn’t love a good avocado? On April 17, Fallbrook, Calif. will be holding their 30th annual Avocado Festival. Full of vendors, delicious treats, and fun activities, this is the perfect way to spend a spring day.

13. Los Angeles Festival of Books

Calling all book lovers, this event is for you! The Los Angeles Festival of Books will be held on April 9-10 at USC. The event features authors from all types of different authors, such as Ariana Huffington, Carrie Brownstein, Stan Lee, Rainn Wilson and Buzz Aldrin. Considering we like books more than most people, this is a can’t miss event.

14. iHeart Radio Music Awards

The iHeart Radio Music Awards premieres on April 3. With U2 being honored with the coveted Innovator Award, it is bound to be a night to remember.

15. World Health Day

World Health Day is on April 7 and will be celebrated internationally. Take today to be conscious of your physical, mental, and emotional health needs!
