Dominguez High senior, Joshua Ford recently committed to Western New Mexico University. The San Gabriel Valley Defensive Player of the Year award winner prepares for college athletics by running track. Ford will participate in multiple events to improve his agility and speed.
While this year’s Dons faced a lot of adversity, Ford was one of the key leaders that held the team together. His three years of varsity experience was displayed when he showed leadership to his younger teammates. Ford was a significant part of the team’s run to the SGVL Championship game.
Although football is one of Joshua’s main priorities, he has great options for his future. Not only does Ford has football to lean on he also wants to become an aspiring actor. He also wants to pursue a degree in Graphic Design or join the United States Marines. With strong support from his family and friends his future seems very bright.
