On Dec.17, the current CIF Division 3 champions, the Eagle Rock Eagles. hosted the Garfield Bulldogs in a matchup for pride. The Eagles fell short to the Garfield Bulldogs 44-28. This game was truly important to the returning Garfield varsity players as they had fallen short to Eagle Rock the year prior in the CIF Division 3 Championship game.

“I didn’t want to look at the poster, we got them today. At first we started remembering what happened before but we came out with the win, a good team win” said guard Monica Garcia who had 10 points on the night.

The Garfield Bulldogs prevailed and take this win with pride as they prepare to host Wilson High on Dec. 20.
