The Garfield High School boys varsity basketball team had a friendly competition scheduled on Wednesday, November 5 against Baldwin Park High School. The teams squared off in two 20-minute halves.

Garfield forward Raul Segura played a huge role for the team, “We needed to come out with the win today,” he said. “Since we lost a game yesterday, this game definitely made up for that.”

Segura helped his team keep the lead during the second half, as the Garfield Bulldogs secured the win beating Baldwin Park 52-46.
