During the month of January, the entire Senior Class participated in the Senior Service Project, a three-week-long community service experience in which seniors volunteered at over 80 service sites throughout Metropolitan Los Angeles. Bishop Gordon Bennett, S.J., former principal of Loyola High and member of the Class of 1964, incorporated the project into Loyola’s curriculum in 1981 by modeling it after a community service program run by St. Louis University High.
