Welcome to the Los Angeles Times HS Insider, a new platform for Southern California high school students to tell their own stories about the high school experience.

We are launching with 50 public, private and charter schools across the region, with student journalists contributing feature stories, photos and videos covering their school’s activities, sports teams and academic life.

HS Insider was created by The Times as a forum for young journalists to develop their skills, share their experiences and connect the community with stories told for and by students.

If you are a high school teacher, administrator or student and are interested in becoming a part of this project, please email Suzy Jack, Vice President of Projects at suzy.jack@latimes.com.
