How to make Asian fried rice

Hello, my name is Adan Casas and welcome to my cooking blog. Today I’m going to show you how to make tasty yet nutritious Asian fried rice, which is fun to make and delicious. Some of these ingredients you probably already have tucked away in your refrigerator or cabinets. For the rest you could easily get at your local store.


Serving size 2-4

  • 2 cups uncooked basmati rice
  • 1 chicken breast (cut into strips)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce


First get a good size pan (or use a rice cooker) and preheat it with three to four tablespoons of olive oil for. After the oil is hot add your two cups of basmati rice to the olive oil. Now for the meat  you can either use grilled chicken or pork (preferably chicken). Note: Do not add the meat right away. Chop the chicken or pork and wait to add it to the rice. Next you scramble your two eggs and prepare to add them to the rice later. Now add two tablespoons of soy sauce to the rice then you well add the egg and chicken or pork into the pan. Stir well so nothing sticks to the pan and if you want you can add some vegetables to the mix. When all is done you should have nice and tasty Asian fried rice to eat while you wait for dinner to be ready or you could serve the rice for dinner.
