If I won the Powerball and the state permits it, I would like to remain anonymous because of safety reasons. I would avoid sudden life style changes, always remembering to have some discipline preserving the winnings and not go on a wild spending spree. Of course, I would consider either remodeling my house or just purchasing another one in a nicer neighborhood, nothing to fancy just enough to live comfortably.
Most important, pay any pending debts and do some short-term investment like treasuries or bonds. I would get help from a financial planner that works with more money than what I have. They can help me make plans, set goals and hire a lawyer to protect myself from creditors and scams.
I would like to help my parents and grandparents. They are the most important people in my life and I would like them living comfortably and stress-free. Then, I will help the rest of my family members to facility their lifestyle.
Nothing will make me happier than to give charity gifts or cash contributions to three special places for me. First, my old elementary school, Santa Teresita School. The majority of the families are being helped by funds to help them pay their kids tuition. I like to give back the help that they once offered my parents and give thanks for the opportunity.
Second, I would like to contribute to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital to help find cancer treatment and cures for other diseases. Last but not least, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and help families in need.
