Free Soul Caffé

Imagine a deliciously creamy and flavorful pizza. Or think of a savory and crispy ham sandwich or fresh chicken salad. Now imagine all these classics without any animal products. Free Soul Caffé, just a short drive from OCSA in Tustin, makes dishes like these and more that are completely vegan. No animal products are used in any of the restaurant’s meals, which will please carnivores and vegetarians alike.

You’ll stroll in from the classic Tustin streets to see a modern and casual theme; classic wood is illuminated with relaxed mellow lighting. If you’d prefer, there’s a sheltered and sunlight outsider area, filled with calming indie-pop music. Free Soul Caffé is the perfect place to relax or reinvigorate with scrumptious meals. Whether you’re enjoying a hearty meal, a quick snack, or a sip of coffee, Free Soul Caffé is the place to be.

This family-run business provides great service; you’ll always be welcomed with a smile when you walk through the glass doors. You won’t have to wait a long time to get the delicious meals, for which “modifications are politely declined.” With a meal for two costing from $20-30, these tasty entrees could take a toll on a student budget.

Though most reviews offer a “favorites” section, everything I’ve tried at Free Soul is delicious. There are the salads, which are perfectly dressed and delightfully crispy. Or the savory sandwiches, which are the perfect combination of flawlessly browned bread and savory fillings. Burgers are completed by hearty burgers on delicious flax-seed buns topped with delicious combinations of fresh ingredients.

Soups are warm combinations of deliciously contrasting flavors. There’s a variety of beverages, from aromatic coffees to teas and the ever-favored boba. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll enjoy the pristine collection of baked goods Free Soul Caffé offers.
