Vania Hernandez (Port of Los Angeles High School) and Cassandra Hsiao (Orange County School of the Arts) were chosen to cover Wango Tango this weekend as part of the 2016 High School Insider Wango Tango Music News Challenge. Ryan Seacrest and Sisanie Villaclara called both students during the “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” morning radio show on 102.7 KIIS FM to announce the good news.

Both students will cover the red carpet, behind the scenes and backstage at the concert on Saturday, May 14. In preparation, the students will travel to the LA Times on Thursday, May 12 for a music news bootcamp run by Arts & Culture reporters and editors to prepare for the event.
