What can you do in North Hollywood (NoHo) with only $20? Apart from all the murals and over 20 movie theaters, you can stop by the NoHo Arts District located on Lankershim Blvd. There, you will find numerous restaurants with any type of food you are craving.

My first stop was Joe’s Coffee, born and raised at  5251 Lankershim Blvd. With my $20, I bought a cookies-n-cream flavored “S’muffin.”

After the short coffee break, I walked over to The Green Man Store, which is located at 5712 Lankershim Blvd. Usually mistaken as a pharmacy, this store offers psychic readings and energy healing daily. The employees offered to make me a Mojo Bag that included three stones, Hibiscus, Deer’s Tongue, and Eyebright.

My final destination was TJ’s Sweetie Pie’s, which is a southern style restaurant. I enjoyed a basket of seasoned fries as I witnessed a film crew swarm the chef.

Although my ending total was $21.45, the extra change was well-worth the experience and adventure.
