The All-Star game is a competition among the most talented basketball players within their areas. Most who competed have made the first and second All-Area teams. Mary will be playing for the San Gabriel Valley Tribune along with fifteen other girls who were chosen for their exceptional talent on the basketball court, and will be taking on the Pasadena Stars.

Wintroath said that she was very excited when she found out she was nominated and is honored to be given this wonderful opportunity. She is eager to get back on the court one last time as a senior and is happy to be given the chance to play with the best talent in the area. After the All-Star game, Wintroath will continue her basketball career at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
