Valeria Luquin

Valeria Luquin is a senior at DPMHS. She is the Newsmagazine Editor-in-Chief for her school's news magazine and website, The Pearl Post. She also co-hosts The Pearl Post's podcast, Room 22. Outside of school, she is involved in her community as a member of LAUSD's Board District 3 Student Advisory Council. She was awarded the Gwen Ifill Student of the Year Award in 2019 by the News Literacy Project.
