Joey is a freshman at Northwestern University, where she is studying journalism at the Medill School of Journalism (with minors in theatre and international studies). She is a passionate journalist, performer, and (obsessive) Harry Potter lover. She spent the summer as an intern with the Los Angeles Times/High School Insider, where she explored the implications of the arts and disabilities. She also serves as a member of the Student Advisory Board. She has appeared on Nick News with Linda Ellerbee and on stage at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
