Dear future president,
As a freshman in high school, testing has become a major part of my life. However, testing is not always a good thing because later on as a junior and senior, test results practically determine where you will be accepted to college. Testing should not be the reason why someone pursues a specific career. I ask that you please work to minimize the impact of testing on students’ futures, or better yet, get rid of the testing system entirely.
Personally, I do not think testing should exist at all. Each student should be able to create their own future through hard work, not test scores. I believe students can learn and be successful, without the stress of test-taking. After all, a test score does not always tell the whole story.
