Double the sisters or double the trouble?
On Sept. 26, at the Warner Bros. Studios lot, the Los Angeles premiere of “Double Trouble” took place with a night on the red carpet followed by a special screening. Cast and crew came out to celebrate and support the film’s upcoming release.
The new film “Double Trouble,” directed by Shaun Piccinino, is an ESX Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment production that follows two sisters who find themselves caught up in a holiday heist.
As a heist, holiday and comedy film, Piccinino brings aspects of his past holiday work into this one. Piccinino says, “the heart behind a holiday movie is always the underlying family element to it.”
Actor and executive producer Madeleine Mcgraw shares what draws her to a project like “Double Trouble.”
“It’s so different from horror in so many aspects. It was really fun. I got to step outside the box, and getting to work with the ESX team is amazing,” McGraw said.

“We truly have the best time together. We always laugh, and it’s always better when we’re together,” actor and executive producer Violet McGraw said.
Known for his role as Max Thunderman on “The Thundermans,” actor Jack Griffo shares his experience working with the cast and crew on “Double Trouble.”
“It was really cool. I got to do some music, I got to sing and I got to work in the recording studio. The McGraw sisters are great and kind people. I heard they had a little something to do with casting me, so I was appreciative of that. It was a joy and a great time on set,” Griffo said.
“Double Trouble” comes to theaters on Oct. 9, and actor Cassandra Blair hopes audiences, especially kids, will enjoy the excitement of the film.
“I hope there are some kids in the audience who get to ride this exciting ride. It’s a heist movie, so there’s fun and excitement. There’s also magic in it. I remember being on set and seeing everything happen,” Blair said.
