Dhuruv Sankararaman is a junior at Westlake High School in Westlake Village. As a passionate baseball player, he balances his love for the sport with his curiosity about the growing digital divide in society. He loves to write about the digital divide in the age of AI to increase awareness in our fast paced society.
Through his leadership role in Make Great Plays, a non profit organization and a school club he founded, Dhuruv partners with local school districts and T1 schools to raise awareness and organize activities bridging the tech gap in the AI era. His ultimate goal is to empower underrepresented groups to pursue tech careers, fostering socio-economic mobility and equality. With Make Great Plays, he's worked on projects such as speaker series, STEM workshops and tech mentorship programs, inspiring younger students to explore the world of technology.
