Diya Rudra

Diya Rudra is a junior at The British School, New Delhi with a penchant for creative activities. Whilst serving a role as Multimedia Manager on the Student Council, she's the Editor-in-Chief of both her school's magazine (Footprints and Frontiers) and the self-founded Arts Newsletter. In addition, she is a TedX speaker as well as the founder of and podcast host at Expression Impressions, a project aiming to raise awareness on the utility of the arts in maintaining positive mental health as well as its role in historical study.

The role of music is significantly emphasised when considering the sociocultural development of the Black Community against the backdrop of important historical events.
