Esmeralda Garcia Murillo
Esmeralda Garcia Murillo is currently enrolled as a senior at East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy (ELARA). Her passion is playing soccer, a sport she's enjoyed since she was 7 years old. Currently, Esmeralda plays for the Torres High School soccer team. Inspired by her AP Psychology course and crime dramas like "48 Hours", Esmeralda plans on double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. In the future she sees herself becoming a detective and putting many criminals behind bars. She enjoys helping people and hopes to do that as a detective. Esmeralda currently helps as a tutor for ESL students at her high school. If asked, her friends might say she's funny, bubbly and makes each day better. She hopes to attend UC Irvine in the Fall.
