Riesling Liu

Riesling Liu is a Houston-based writer and a student at the Awty International School. She is a two-time national gold medalist in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and a winner of the NSHSS Creative Writing Scholarship. She is an alumnus of the Iowa Young Writers Studio. In addition to writing, Riesling has interests in journalism and is currently a student advisor on the PBS News Student Reporting Labs national advisory team. She is a writer for the Teen Magazine and the LA Times High School Insider. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the Houston Wildlife Center and coaching summer league swimming.
