April 11, 2016

High School Insider was out in force at the 2016 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books: 41 students from 26 schools volunteered to cover the 2016 event.

Supplementing the Times’ live blog coverage of the festival, students interviewed more than 25 people—from author Junie B. Jones’ mascot to KTLA traffic reporter Ginger Chan—asking what was the most inspirational book they read in high school.

HS Insider also honored the winners and runner-ups of the Discover Asia Correspondent Contest Sponsored By Korean Air at the Travel Smart Stage on Sunday, April 10.
