Olympio D’Mello teaches World Religions to sophomores and the Academic Decathlon team at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
Originally from India, he moved to the United States in hopes of a better life, and works his hardest every day to share his knowledge with his students.
This year, the theme for the Academic Decathlon team was India, which allowed D’Mello the opportunity to share his in-depth life experiences and detailed stories, as most of the content that the decathletes were studying was material that he was very familiar with.
D’mello hopes every day to inspire his students not only with his teachings, but also “by who I am.”
