Every year during the first weekend of October, Manhattan Beach hosts their annual Hometown Fair. The Hometown Fair has everything from your favorite fair food to dog adoptions. There are people selling their handmade art and jewelry, game booths, food vendors, an art show, and a variety of performances from dancing to singing.

The annual Manhattan Beach 10k kicks off the weekend. Age divisions start for children ages 9-11 and the oldest division is for adults age 85 and up.

After the race, the festivities begin.

This year’s fair opened up with a mini parade of old-fashioned cars and members of the Mira Costa Marching Band and Color Guard.DSC_0291

The street and both fields that are used for the fair are lined with all kinds of booths.

The Hometown Fair brings endless fun and memories to people of any age who are either members of the community or visitors.
