To support the Special Olympics World Games, the Southern California Gas Company recruited over 1,900 members to join their “Fans in the Stands” group, which made it the largest organized fan group in Special Olympics history. All of the members met up on July 25 at the USC Galen Center to watch teams from all over the world compete in basketball.

“SoCalGas is extremely proud to be a sponsor [of the World Games],” said Jimmie Cho, Senior Vice President of Gas Operations and System Integrity. “Not only do we have employees here cheering on, but they brought their families by the busload.”
