Dear future president,
Wage inequality has always been a problem in our society. However, the problem not only involves gender inequality, it’s much more than that, it’s racial inequality.
According to Pew Research Center, minorities of both genders have lower hourly wages compared to white men and women. As a woman and minority, I don’t want to be viewed as equally less than others in my society. I don’t want to do the same level of work as someone else and get payed less because of my race and gender. To be treated fairly means all individuals get payed the same for the same level of work without the consideration of gender or ethnicity because far beyond gender and race we are all just human.
