Student athletes attending LAUSD/ USC Media and Engineering School express their need for an on-campus gym and practice field.  Instead, they practice on cracked concrete outside, which limits student-athlete potential and undermines their performance during games that take place inside actual gyms. Physical education classes also have to exercise out on the concrete or at an off-campus facility that reduces class time. An on-campus gym would resolve many difficulties for P.E. classes and sport teams.
