Mr. Choi connects with his students at LAUSD/ USC Media Arts and Engineering campus on so many levels: from his love of great music, to challenging his classes to write better essays, to playing instruments with his kids after-school. His room is always packed with students hanging out.

Mr. Choi shares how he fits into USC MAE’s environment as a mentor, friend, and sponsor towards his students. He creates a welcoming atmosphere in his classroom where all students can be themselves. Students share their thanks on how Mr. Choi has helped them throughout their lives and why he is the cool teacher on campus.
