Los Angeles is losing the family-run restaurants that carry its cultural stories. If Gen Z wants to protect the city’s identity, we need to support the places that keep those traditions alive.

Opinion: Stop telling teenagers to ‘find their passion’
Passion develops through curiosity and experimentation, not certainty. Instead of asking teens to have it all figured out, we should encourage them to explore what interests them now and allow space for change.
