Marjina Haque

Marjina Haque is a senior at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School and a staff writer for the Pearl Post. When she's not, she can be found reading good books, bad news or the entire Love and Rockets comic series (again) or watching movies. Her favorite directors are Satyajit Ray and Luis Bunuel. She's intent on becoming a social worker and getting her doctorate in social work as well. Besides that, her goals are to get full sleeves, learn more languages, and visit her parents' home countries. She wants to contribute to a world that provides a safe space for women and femmes of color and successfully combats institutional violence.
