You might have already heard of it: Crumbl. With over 1,000 stores worldwide, spanning every US state, Canada, and Puerto Rico, Crumbl sells over a million cookies every day. Since its launch in Utah in 2017, founded by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, Crumbl has been taking the internet and social media by storm. The brand has collaborated with A-list celebrities, from the Jonas Brothers to Kylie Jenner to Olivia Rodrigo, and partnered with major companies to expand their cookie empire into everyday products. For example, Crumbl teamed up with Dove for body care and WK Kellogg Co for cereal, both inspired by Crumbl’s cookie flavors. However, the real question is: Is it REALLY worth the hype? Nonetheless, I will be taking it to the test.

One factor that helps Crumbl maintain its popularity is its rotating weekly menu. Each week features 7 cookies, 6 of which are updated, with one staying as an original flavor. I tried the flavors for St. Patrick’s Week, from March 17-22.

Upon entering the store, there was a screen where I ordered online and customized my cookie selection. In the front, you could see the process of making the cookies and decorating them, which added to the excitement of the experience.

I ordered the national, the flavors of that week: Milk Glaze ft. Fruity PEBBLES, Mallow Creme ft. Lucky Charms, Chocolate ft. Andes, Wildberry, The Original Pink Sugar, and Cookies & Cream Brownie.

All the delicious flavors I tried, neatly packed in the iconic Crumbl pink box- Milk Glaze with Fruity Pebbles, Mallow Creme with Lucky Charms, Chocolate Mint Cake, Wildberry, The Original Pink Sugar, and Cookies & Cream Brownie! [Source: Author, Summer Park]

SHOWDOWN: (Order from left to right, top to bottom of the picture displayed above)

(1) Milk Glaze ft. Fruity PEBBLES

WOW! This was by far my favorite of the week. I had to settle for mini-sized cookies since the regular ones were sold out, but it was totally worth it. The appearance was absolutely gorgeous, and the flavor blew me away—10/10! The confetti-like inside was so pretty, and the flavor combination was perfect. It’s sweet but not overwhelming, with every bite leaving a burst of flavor in my mouth. It’s a cookie that takes you on a flavor journey.

Overall: 10/10 (This one’s a MUST-TRY!)

(2) Mallow Creme ft. Lucky Charms

This one was a real treat! Crumbl nailed the nostalgic factor with this collaboration. The vanilla frosting, topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, instantly transported me back to my childhood. Every bite was sweet and filled with that warm, comforting feeling. The marshmallows were the perfect touch, reminding me of rainbows and unicorns! It was sweet but in the best way possible.

Overall: 9.5 (Almost perfect-pure nostalgia!)

(3) Chocolate ft. Andes

Mint lovers, brace yourselves! This one is for you. The layers of dark chocolate cake were incredibly moist, with rich chocolate ganache sandwiched between. The minty frosting on top was bold, but not overpowering, and the Andes pieces were the perfect finishing touch. If you love mint, this one will absolutely blow your taste buds away. Sweet, minty, and indulgent!

Overall: 9/10 (Mint perfection, but a little overwhelming if you’re not a huge fan of mint!)

(4) Wildberry

Okay, so I almost skipped this one. The cookie didn’t look that great on the screen, and I almost passed on it. But let me tell you—DO NOT judge a book by its cover! I was shocked by how good it was. It wasn’t too sweet, and the fruity flavors were spot-on, almost like a blueberry muffin, but in cookie form! It had a slightly firmer texture but was still moist and delicious. This was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth trying.

Overall: 9/10 (A sleeper hit—don’t skip it!)

(5) The Original Pink Sugar

This one is a classic, and it’s always on the Crumbl menu. While it’s definitely tasty, I have to admit—it was a bit too sweet for me personally. But the texture was perfect: delicate and moist, and it had that melt-in-your-mouth quality. It reminded me of the sugar cookies from Ralphs, but just a little sweeter. It’s the kind of cookie you can always count on for a reliable, satisfying treat.

Overall: 8/10 (Still great, but maybe a tad too sweet for me!)

(6) Cookies & Cream Brownie

This was the Dessert of the Month for March, and it definitely lives up to the title! The brownie itself was so smooth and rich, with buttercream and chocolate ganache drizzled all over. The Oreo pieces on top added that perfect crunch and extra sweetness. It was a dessert-lover’s dream, but VERY sweet! If you have a major sweet tooth, you’ll love this one.

Overall: 9/10 (Very sweet-perfect for brownie and Oreo lovers!)

In conclusion, in just one week, Crumbl partnered with three companies- Fruity Pebbles, Lucky Charms, and Andes- showing their innovative spirit. With millions of people on TikTok and other social media platforms trying and rating their cookies, it’s clear why Crumbl continues to dominate.

Opinion: What we choose not to see

Heads on asphalt under the scorching sun — concrete pillows so hot you could fry an egg on them. People huddled under tarps whipping in the ocean breeze. Kids tucked away into shadowed alleys.  All pushed aside for the sake of keeping a clean, happy, coastal...

Opinion: How sports shape early development

When I think about school, I think about the usual academic subjects like math, science, history, language, and social studies. They’re all important, no doubt. When it comes to a well-rounded education, though, especially in early education, something has always felt...
