On April 10, the West Covina HS Freshman Class of 2018 hosted the annual Mock Rock in the Bulldog Cafe, a night of lip syncing and dancing.

“This event took us about a month and a half to prepare for and it went better than expected, there were so many people,” said Freshman Class President Bryan Tong.

Many different students and clubs participated in performing for the audience including Renaissance, who placed first overall, the ASB executive board, who placed second overall and the Sophomore Class of 2017, who placed third overall with their outstanding performances. The battle between the classes was also a success for the sophomores, who took first place, freshman who took second, and the juniors in third place in the class competition for spirit points.
