Delilah Brumer

Delilah Brumer is a sophomore at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. She loves science and writing, and is president of her school's science bowl and library committee clubs. She is a staff writer and the social media editor of her school newspaper, The Pearl Post. She is also a Writegirl mentee, and was recently featured in the anthology "This Moment: Bold Voices from Writegirl." She has also been named named a Los Angeles Youth Poet Laureate honorable mention, was on the Superintendent's Honor Roll during the 2019-2020 school year, got an "excellent" award in the Fall 2020 National High School Journalism Convention Student Media Contests for editorial writing, and is a member of her school's chapter of the National Honor Society.
